So im able to get about 4000 gallons of transformer oil but i wanted to have it tested for pcbs before i use it. Is there a way i can test it myself, do i have to send it to a lab of some kind. I also wanted to test it for lubricity, Iv seen a few people say that transformer oil isnt much of a lube and can damage things but it seems a little hard to believe to me, so if i actually test it thatll tell me for sure if i need to add something to it. The oil was from the mid to late 90s and all of it seems VERY clean there doesnt seem to be any contaminetes at all.

You can probably look up the sds(safety data sheet) for the oil if you have what is called. Good start at least. Yah usually it's very clean

Should be able to call an oil analysis lab and ask them if that is something they can look at?
