That guy is an idiot. He says right in his description it is for a computer controlled engine but not a powerstroke. THERE IS NO SUCH THING

I thought it was a joke, but apparently this sensor helps with the shift scheduling on E4OD equipped trucks. Saw it on the FTE site if you want to reference it.

Yep you guys with the E4OD go look on the rear firewall on the passengers side just under (hold on I'm doing this from memory over 5 years back) all hood cowling - it should be on a funky looking bracket that sticks it out next to the blower motor assembly....

If I'm right on the location do I win a bozo button....

Yeps, the barometric pressure sensor allows for some flexibility in the E4OD shift points - lower pressure (higher altitude) makes for slightly earlier upshifts.

Hmm... that will be the next thing for the E4OD guys then. Learn what the value range of the resistor in there is, and you can manually adjust your trans by disconnecting it and hooking up a control in it's place. :sly

Yeah I don't think its really worth even bothering with that thing. I remember hauling ass up the ski hill in my truck I just use some minor manual shifting to get things to work as I think they should. If you need a lower gear, then just floor it and hold on LOL.

I think ford was trying to solve too many problems with the E4OD. I remember what it was like to drive with the C6, and that transmission worked like a dream, other than lacking another top gear or locking TC.
