Uhaul Hydroboost

Uhaul has a nice hydroboost up for sale on ebay. They are asking $275.00 and thats a really good deal. I listed one I have in the market place that I really wont be using plus all the serpentine pulleys and mounts to support that. Its not necessary to change out the Vbelts to serpentine when you go hydroboost but it sure cleans up the front of the engine when you do that. Then a single belt repalcement is a quick job. No adjusting many differant belts.

You can get a rebuilt one off rockauto for something like $150 including core. Now, the quality may be better with this unit (it could very well be an OEM rebuilt unit) but IMHO it's not *that* great of deal.

No sure if it matters, but that's probably for a truck and not an f or e series.

Edit: ford part number. Either way 2 minutes with google found that nospartswarehouse.com has it for $265.

like was said, check rock auto. i think you can get a BRAND NEW motorcraft booster for like $250.

The listing says new. I would suppose that it is in fact a new factory part for an F450, like they say in the description.

A couple of weeks ago I ordered a new Motorcraft BRB37 from RockAuto for $233, but I just looked and the price is now $268. Did a search for a 93 F Superduty to find it. It's a 33.33 mm bore and included the pushrod that goes to the MC.
