f250 6.9 turbo 2whdr autoc6 1986 dis truck starts great was runing fine park it 6hrs later got in start up fine put in gear can not go forward or back the red light or the green light on the switch for splitter not coming on the switch is mounted on steering colum shift handal i dont know how the switch works with the splitter i dont know if it is overdrive or low the thing is it was runing great the men that sold us the truck could not give us any ifo thank you

Do you know what kind of splitter you have? If it's a Gear Vendors, it's going to move irregardless. A U.S. gear, I'm not sure how they behave, but I would think the same would be true. Most likely, something has gone wrong with the C6. Did you check the trans fluid?
