@farmerrock, seems like one of those old dot-mil trailer bodies would make a great pickup bed.
That one I pictured, has just been sitting around here, so I figured why not.@farmerrock, seems like one of those old dot-mil trailer bodies would make a great pickup bed.
I hope for you as well that the pan threads are not stripped. Running a thread restorer through can help without cutting and creating material in your oil.Today I changed my oil and thermostat. The thermostat wasn't bad so I decided to put the radiator fan and shroud back on while I was at it. The oil drain plug didn't want to tighten back up so I sprayed it down with brake cleaner and wiped it off as well as I could. Then I smothered it with RTV in the hopes that it wouldn't leak temporarily. It didn't leak. Until I put the new oil in that is. I had to go to Orscheln anyway so I bought a new drain pan to put under the engine to attempt to keep oil off of my driveway. I guess next weekend, I'm going to buy a couple of oversized drain plugs and see if I can get one of them installed and the oil leak stopped. I'm REALLY hoping that it's only the drain plug that's stripped and I can just put another drain plug in. That probably won't be the case, bur I can hope for now. That's just one more reason for me to pull the engine back out here soon. As I was finishing up, I remembered that I had a nice fellow with red and blue lights all over his car let me know that I had a broken taillight last weekend. He even gave me a piece of paper with permission to fix it. I had been carrying them around for a week so I figured that I'd better change them out. They're not my favorite, but they were from a truck that I bought for parts a couple of years back so they didn't cost me anything today.
After all that, I said forget it and went to ride my dirt bike in the snow.
Take some pics as you go, and post'em up here, please.I think it'll be neat, and paint it all up decent.
The measurements look very close, it should work.

You mean the exhaust? Yes. It goes along with the headers. The exhaust was done by our "sister shop" after I installed a reman engine back in late '98 or early '99. They didn't do the best quality of work. Are you running duals on that unit?
Is it 2 in pipe with an H pipe? I have been thinking I might do oneYou mean the exhaust? Yes. It goes along with the headers. The exhaust was done by our "sister shop" after I installed a reman engine back in late '98 or early '99. They didn't do the best quality of work.
No it's 2 1/2. It was similar to the one that was sold by Stan's.Is it 2 in pipe with an H pipe? I have been thinking I might do one
Yes. I had a column from a 1989 F150 in my Bronco. I did have to swap the aluminum mounting bracket though. Otherwise, it was a direct replacement. So the bronco Column will fit in a f250?
What bronco said and if things don’t fit that’s what the angle grinder, sledge and welder are for.Seems like most Bronco`s are auto trans. Didn`t know they came with a manual trans.

Be good to swap in new Bushings on the peddle assy. before installing it.
That 4 door Dully looks like a Circus wagon.
