@JesusFreak, I have an old friend who must have half a dozen of those old Honda three wheelers down in Homer. I can remember when those were the new hotness, and people were riding Honda 90s from Cold Bay to King Cove.
If only you weren't at the other corner of North America....

And what's funny is that there's another member with my user name but no space between the words!!!......of all the nerve.....as Barney Fife would say......

Went to the local pick n pull, grabbed a steering column, fender, valance, cowl panel, and some other odds and ends to put the new to me truck back together.

Why does it always seem to be easier to get another project than finish a current one?
Here's an update on this one. I passed this on to a friend who also has way too many projects and he gave me 4 reasons.
1. It's cheaper to just buy a project and let it sit.
2. It's easier to buy the project and let it sit than it is to fix it.
3. If you let it sit, you can do other things that you want to do at the moment.
4. You don't F anything up if you don't work on it.
See? It's not just us IDI guys who do this!

I have a theory about buying thermometers in a store....I look through them and take a concencus of what they all say and pick one of the "average" ones. If you can get another one and compare them you can gauge who's telling the truth.

Took the kiddo to the local theme park today, AC blew cold the whole way. I re-did the AC recently so that made me happy. Some really nice hills to drive on and downshift on, this engine got re-built by an old timer at only 80k miles after the guy got worried driving it a few miles after a radiator failure. I'm not sure what he did (I'm the second owner) but I bought it after he had passed and the family decided to sell it, and in the 3 IDI's I've had this thing has more power and runs better than any of them. My dad has a 94 turbo e40d single cab and this thing will leave it in the dust. I've got the fuel turned up and done some things to it, but whatever the old timer did when he had it tore apart he did right. Doesn't leak, doesn't burn oil, just a happy truck.

It’s kinda expensive, but I bought a calibrated infrared thermometer. Has to be recalibrated every two years to keep certification.

According to that thing, my vent temp is 38* with max AC, fwiw. Full and proper R134 conversion.

Yeah, I'm just talking about run of the mill stuff. Yours is telling the truth, so if you get a minute, run up to puallup in Washington and double check @Kdo58 s, harbor freight thing. Then we'll know, and knowing is half the battle.....
