Yup eBay if your friend for piping. Everything from 2” - 3”+. I got a similar kit as above 2.5” with lots of bends and straights and connector boots and clamps. I haven’t started yet. But I’ve laid it all out and I think I have what I need. I use my truck daily for ranch stuff and towing horses and cattle so I can’t have it down too long. As soon as I find a hat and some time I’ll start and post picts.

I personally would want less boots.

I’d also kinda like to keep the factory airbox.

That may limit me to the Hypermax kit.

@03wr250f has a Hypermax intercooler and Justin’s 093 upgrade, I guess I’ll go look for his build on here.

You could get everything set into place and have someone weld the tubes together. I think that if you go with higher boost pressures, you'd want fewer boots anyway. That way, the boots have less chance of being blown off. As for me, I plan to get mine all mocked up and have a bead welded around each end of all of the tubes. Maybe not fully welded, but at least 4 stitch welds. That way, I'll have some extra protection from the boots slipping off.

After mine is all in and working I actually plan on welding some of the joints. However keep in mind. The more large welded pieces the harder it is to get them out to work on things. A properly installed quality boot with a good clamp will stay on at much higher boost then we can ever put into our motors.

It's been smash car central in my family these last few weeks, putting mine back into daily driver mommy status!

First my husband was hit slowly by a tractor trailer on a 1 lane zig zag bridge that was over length, over height, over weight for that whole street. His car will be in body shop indefinitely so he is now using my new car.

Then my mom got into a weird fender bender so she's been using the 02 accord she bought new, then gave to my brother, then was given to me to junk but I couldn't so instead I lifted it haha.

Next that same brother outgrew his car (new baby!) and was able to sell it which got rid of his car payments but that left him a car short, so he also has one of my extra shitboxes.

I definitely have some new air intrusion in my now mom hauler, and the school is so close the white smoke isn't quite cleared up by the time I drop them off.

It's also beekeeping season and I am super involved with my group so having a struggle getting time to work on my own stuff

It's also the start of my family birthday season. And this year we jumped up 3 new members, so now my immediate family is 21 people!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I asked if the adults could please stop throwing themselves birthday parties now that we have 9 kids between the 5 of my siblings.

In addition to the air intrusion I broke the little lock off my FAVORITE feature of my truck, the backwards "air conditioning" triangle windows. I'm very sad

I have had this 86 10+ years. Just noticed there is a screen inside the Tail Pipe a good 6" in. Looks like a bunch of 3/16" hole`s.
Iam going to knock it out of there....but is welded in pretty good.

Picked up a 12" long 3/8" Drill Bit from Harbor freight. Drilled out all the holes inside the circumference of the pipe. There is always the hanger on`s, used a wide blade Screw Driver 12 or more inches long with a big Socket on the end, and whanged on it to break them off, and out it came.
Dang, another one behind it....and another and another one.
Four total. Must be a spark arrestor?

Now they are out, it seems to accelerate a bit quicker now.
Probably some back pressure created with it in there.
I know it`s gotta be another 10 HP.... ;Sweet.....:peelout

Filled up the rear 38 gal tank, we`ll see in 500 miles if any change in the MPG.

Going to be fun watching the critters fly out the Tail Pipe
all black and sooty.

My Wife drove the truck today, and noticed a difference the
way it ran.
