Replace water pump- what else??

I’m replacing the water pump on my obs 7.3, 1996. Also new t stat, motorcraft.
What else should I look at while I’m in here?
My first time,

I’m thinking t stat housing, and heater core return nipple.

The t-stat housing almost always gets deformed when trying to re-install. I use a new gasket and thin bead of water pump sealant on the outer edge to get a proper seal.

I usually try to do tensioners and belt and idler pulley all the little things that are a pain and cheap
