I made a truck rack not for myself and it looks infinitely better than the one I made for mine years ago, maybe it’s time for upgrades.

It has been wrecked at some point, not a major deal but I can tell the last owner did weird things to put it back together and the whole core support is bent and it messes up the hood alignment and the headlight mounts so a new part is on order. That's a common thing with our trucks. I think that it comes with harder use. We used to repair those cracks by placing some angle iron over the crack and welding it on solid. How well did it work? I have no idea, but it was better that when it came in.
That's fantastic! My 93 had a bad support when I bought it. I couldn't find anything completely rust free, so I bought one that had a rusted out tray and the top half was excellent. My old one was opposite, so I cut em' both in half and welded them.
Like brand new afterwards.
