well the exhaust manifolds sneak out with the cab in place. better than i thought too! i got the turbo and manifold off and pulled the p/s pump. i have to get it recalibrated to run the factory box and the HB unit.

patched up the rocker on the driver side.

Looking good. I admire your skills.
I need to get some tools to do body work like that and just practice on some stuff.
Were you self taught or did you go to school for it?

I'm winging it my friend! LOL I put floors in the terra and patched some stuff but this is my first full blown resto.my friends do alot of welding and I've been paying close attention lately. Figure worst case we'll hide It under some mud!

What's the deal with the power steering pump? Not enough or too much flow/pressure?

Again, wanting to know when my turn comes for the DT466.LOL

Haha. Well that's the way to learn though. And it looks great.

got more progress. ben also helping Brandon with the '74, fixing up my trailer, and ordering stage 1 injectors for the stroker.....could have paid for moose misters!! :puke:

not pretty but it'll do, especially covered in seam sealer!

pass side rocker was in better shape so it's just getting a patch. the welder gas o ring let go so the welds look like goose poop....

i'm sure everyone has been waiting paitently for more pictures....figure i'd make some progress than update.

there is no fun way to grind out seam sealer...

while i had out the wire wheel i figured i would remove some rust..... typical D series rust....

i had lost about every tool in my box.... where were they hiding. oh yeah it's a crew cab, holds more junk. had to clean it out!

happened to have my mom's cherokee at the shop the other night, after helping brandon i was headed home and spun out, luckily there was a fire hydrant to stop me.

rust was swelling the factory seam, little cut and some fresh metal!
