Something is up with the converter. I would do a pressure test on the tranny just to check it out.
Most likely the tranny is fine. The converter on the other hand is on its last leg. If you were to remove the converter and look at the cover. I bet you will see the blue ring of death. This is from the clutch slipping,it leaves a blue heat ring around the face.

its a billet converter, i was told is better. i guess i could do a converter swap. whats a good one? what do you need to do a pressure test? i have shopkey pro so i think that might have some info on that also.

the guy that did the converter said there was some good parts put into it. i guess not from the way it acts.

A billet cover is a plus, but they too could be built with not so great parts.
You can get a single disk (stock) with a billet cover. Single disk converters are what gives the E4 a bad name.

well ill plan to try a converter swap and hope for the best.

do you know of a decent brand that has a reasonable price tag?
