Yep. Most places here don't carry it. Doing the flares is really my only hang up.

The most annoying thing about doing double flares is being so happy that you finally got a good one, then realize that you forgot to put the fitting on first!

when doing a double flare, prep is numero uno!!!!
the line must be cut square, deburred inside and out, and the height must be perfect!
even then, after you are done with the die, a body hammer should be used to tap it to where it looks uniform.
then run the flaring tool down tight.

i find a reamer, file and sand paper come in handy.

dont forget your nuts!@@!

So no word back from inline tube. I'm not hopeful. I'll call them tomorrow.

In the mean time, FedEx fairy came and left me a present.

That's when things went down hill. Self sabotage as usual. I went to install brakes on the pass side and I can't find the brake shoe links. Had a brand new set. Had them laid out with the rest of the brake hardware. No clue. All I know is I'm pissed. A whole evening derailed over $4 worth of parts. It's the time that irritates me. [emoji20]

I know I spend more time looking for things I "put up so I won't loose" than actually working. Probably why I'm 2 years deep.

Stephanie, my ex did that one day while I was at work, organized the whole bench in the basement. I went ape **** when I got home and discovered her "surprise". I have taken over half of Erica's garage and strangely we think alike in where stuff is stored so I have been able to not "lose" anything out there. Matter of fact she insisted I hang peg board and she bought both of "my" benches!

Finally heard from inline tube. The "best they could do" was sell me the set I need at dealer cost, 40% off. I'm not happy but I bit on it. You can bet that if they aren't right, someone will get a brake line enema.
