Picked up the chevy hydro booster $11, got the hoses and mics from kragen $50. It took 2 hours and 5 gallons of sweat( hot day here) to install thanks to this sites great info. wow the brakes on this truck never ever work this good. got some pics I will post later.

Hydroboost brakes doubles the line pressure and... If you installed the 1.5/16 master cylinder you now have more brake fluid volume available to be pushed into the system. The reason the older vacuum sysems will end up with a dropped peddle is the 1/18 mc can't send enough fluid to the commonly out of adjustment rear brakes.

heres some pics. all i had to modify was drilling the bottom holes on the booster to match the fire wall and use 2 inch spacers, then I up sized the mounting bolts to 7/16 and wrap the gap with some insulation. all the rest was plug and play. I still can't believe how easy this swap was and how the brakes feel, its like nite and day.

Now just rearch ebay for a 1 5/16 master cylinder at a good price and instal it. It will change everything you feel now in the brakes.:sly
