I do see an issue with my previous post, I don't see a speedo cable. Which makes me think it may be an AOD out of an early 90's 1/2 ton. Ask him/her for the number of pan bolts, and size truck it came out of.

I just made a deal the other day to sell one for $50, but I have a history of the one I'm selling, it's tired but still works.

Next question, hate starting new threads, but a 1991 bronco is AOD or E4OD? Or how do you tell visually?

can be either, aod is a small pan and a e40d has a huge long oil pan/. aod has a cable for throytle pressure. e40d has a huuge electrical connector on the side.

351 engine is for sure an E4OD it only got the E4OD or the C6.
302 engine is probably and E4OD they were supposed to swap from AOD in 1990.

There is a tag right behind where the shifter attaches to the trans on the driver's side.
The above pic sure looks like an AOD

Look for the massive casting rings around the outside of the trans. in this pic compared to the above pic.
