How does a GV change gears?Auto or do you have a switch?What kinda gearing can you get.....Evil mind at work again!

If they are only charging $400 dollars it must be an easy fix. :rolleyes: If the back half is the same as mated gv's and only the front "adapter" and shaft are different then it should be easy. I've had the adapter off before and I don't see how it could be 4 hours...maybe for total r&r but not the actual seal replacement.

Keep this in mind when you speak to GV...they are always happy to make $400 off a $5 part. BTW...ask for the p/n of the seal...they use common autmotive seals you can get locally.
