Intercooler

Has anybody tried to install an intercooler from a psd on a 7.3 idi? If so how difficult? Or is it worth it to just spend the money on a hypermax kit? I just got my hands on a intercooler from a psd never opened for a hundred bucks... Waste of money?

What year psd intercooler??? Does this have plastic ends or welded aluminum ends. They will work but require some fab work.

It's off of a 99, and it has aluminium welded ends. Hopefully that's a good thing!

Yea the aluminum ends are the ones you want. The plastics ones crack.
