Intercooler intake differences

Here are two videos that show just how well intercoolers work. Now this is a Spearco 6.0 intercooler, so its larger and more efficient than a 6.0 intercooler, but it gives you an idea. I would think a smaller intercooler, maybe 50* higher.

Great vids, now I gotta get another set of guages damn u anyhow... no not yer fault. I do like the idea of seeing both pre/post IC temps would like to eventually get a dual swing Pyro too for L&R then a post turbo one as well....look likea freakin aircraft..

Gary, the one thing that puzzles me is it's turbine outlet temp and engine intake temp?

too bad cannot find a dual guage like this for *** for tat and pyro

Seriously though it's a neat idea...which I doubt I'll be doing any time soon adding a tittat guage setup...not poppin one out ofa jet.

Now we can see how mUch an intercooler actually does drop the temperature. And ds you see how easy ut was to push 400* with that truck? I'm sure we do the axact same thing.

cant remember for sure, but my in and out temps were about 100* different. this is on a hard 10 mile pass loaded at 18000 total 2500rpm in drive. this was measured externally with temp gun.
