I run Stanadyne lubricity formula in almost every tank. Especially rotary pumped diesels. I don't notice any difference and don't even care to try a performance formula, I'm strictly after lubricity.

I don't think a 2% bio will make that much difference, especially when compared to ATF or 2-stroke oil. I agree performance will change if you are running 20% or more but I doubt 2% will be noticeable at all. Plus this is the best lubricity you can buy, and it is absolutely the cheapest!

So... at least in my area, all the diesel pumps say "contains up to 10% biodiesel"... because they know the same thing we do: it's a cheap, effective lubricity improver.
So... you aren't going to blow anything up just using pump fuel. If you bought ULSD from a refinery, before it was blended with additives.. then you might have problems. Otherwise, you can just run it. Or add some additives one way or another, it won't hurt much.
