Free the wiring harness up in the back for the lights, unhook your filler necks, remove all the bolts (with a wrench or a grinder and punch), then get a case of beer for the three friends that help you lift it off the chassis (one friend will work, but it's easier with four guys).

You can turn it upside down and lay it on the ground flat or get a couple of saw horses and set it right side up. If you are going to put it back on you'll want to make some marks from the bottom to align things a little faster.

Good luck,

Paul

This is what I need to do ! Keep posting as you go. Maybe if I see someone else getting this big job done, I'll feel more motivated.

Mel, It will go back just as you put it in I only use the chance to paint the pipes real good with htemp paint (black) so it wont get rusty color.

About being Mad well Mel can tell I get a little anxy :rotflmao when I wont something done. I'll get the carpot on the 13th I have the spray gun coming this week too and the paint sealer and clear this week to if possible. Will do some body filling first and then to the carport to paint. Meanwhile will clean chassy real goo and paint with some rubber undercoating and also under the bed some more (already did every year since own) and the cab. Also want to clean and paint the interior of the bumper front and rear. I do most on weekends so I would say 3 more weekends maybe.

I hope the weather holds out for you EZ. Make sure you know your humidity and temperature levels when you mix up the paint.
