At the Association of Diesel Specialists meeting in Las Vegas over the summer, I met with Delphi representatives personally, and they indicated to me that they would cease production of the BB injectors that we have come to know and love this fall. I have been watching availability closely, and it appears that the end is now at hand. I will be receiving my last order of BB injectors this week. We will continue to sell out our remaining stock at current prices until November 1st. After that, prices will need to increase. as Delphi has significantly bumped the cost. This will affect Moose Mister pricing as well, since Delphi injectors seed that program. I'm sorry to deliver this bad news. as the Delphi injectors have been the best. The good news though is that Stanadyne will continue to produce nozzles. and we are still able to acquire another brand which we are still checking into. Undoubtedly. prices for reman injectors will new nozzles will still be significantly higher, as the price difference between new injectors and just nozzles is only about $5 each. We will have more labor into making the remains than that cost difference will allow. So the short of it is, new injector prices are as low as you are going to see them right now, and in the future and distant future, expect to pay even more. Still, the IDI is an exceptionally low cost engine to own, as even powerstroke injectors are still about $200 a piece. As always, our sets are completely tested and pressure matched. A service no one else will offer you for the same price.

Well Mel I kind of figured this was coming. Its a sad note too. No matter how many spare sets we might have. It will never be enough. Very sad for sure but thanks for the update.

Is this only the BB code, or all three part numbers that delphi produces? I would imagine so, as the availability of the other part numbers has been harder to come by (for me anyway).

What are the choices for new units for a 7.3 turbo app?
Are the delfi's significantly superior?
I am getting ready for a pump and inj, replacement soon!
Thanx cb

Thanks for the heads up

Is there any difference between the BB's you sell and the BB's and return kit that Russ sells?

Delphi will not be making any 6.9/7.3 injectors at all, so regardless of letter code there will not be any more from them. The Delphi's are, in my opinion, of excellent quality. I've not seen what Russ is selling, so I can't comment on the differences. It is my belief however, that injector wise, we sell the same product. We will honor the old prices of $389.20 for BB's and $670.80 for Moose Misters through the rest of this week. However, the new prices are on the web site at http://conestogadiesel.com/products/ford.html

Ok, not wanting to start an injector war, but what is the difference in the Delphi BB vs Stanadyne D code

From the reading I've done on this forum, they look different but that's because they are different manufacturers, but what are the pop pressures? Because that makes the biggest difference correct?

same as far as ive found, but when matching them they can be off as much as 100psi out of the box. Hence the need to match
