I have a 300- 6. I can cam and balance it with some 40 over 390 pistons, bore the intake for 2 more carbs, big valves. Just for you, make you a super deal.lol Just saying.

I'm glad my brother can't see this thread, he'd want me to put that engine in his F-150. (Which currently has a 300 I-6)
were gonna keep the 223.
he likes the fact that its the same designation as his rifle lol
if we do a engine swap, im putting an IDI in it!
yesterday, we put all new window seals in, adjusted the doors, and now his truck is weather proof,
has door locks, and 4 working windows!!!
and the best part.... ITS OUT OF MY SHOP!
we got another day of sanding the grille, bed floor and stepsides, then we are gonna call this stage finished.

3 years later...
ive always had a plan to IDI swap this...
and now we have set upon the path of IDI righteousness.
the kid now wants this truck in VA where he has been stationed for the past 6 months.
so he dropped me some cash.
we now have a 7.3 IDIT, a ZF5 and super duty axles!
im gonna get the frame done, get the engine and trans dialed with driveshafts and plumbing.
and when he goes on leave in December, we are going to body swap!!!
gonna be a fun ride...
@snicklas could I ask for a big favor and move to the conversion side of OB?

he might want to drive it back, sounds like a great daily driver combo as long as you get soem good rubber for it.
