Bricknose HVAC control question

So both trucks I've had the little white hose on the actuator up on the pass side of the fire wall have been rotted off. I assume that's the blend door. I don't know where the other end of it is. I only ever saw the 6" connected to the actuator. Can someone "cough no mufflers cough" where that guy connects so I can finish plumbing the HVAC system?

If you mean the actuator on the outside of the box, that one switches the air from outside to inside (Like a recirculate). The hose goes with the wire loom to the inside of the truck.

If you cut back the loom it will be there. I replaced mine a while ago. That whole harness can be removed from the outside and there is a small connector for the black and white hose in the truck.

Ya the vacuum hose comes out of the wire harness. Cut it back carefully and you will find it. That door switches from outside air to recirculate.

If you find enough good hose in the wiring harness to hook to, a regular piece of small rubber vacuum line will slip over the original plastic and then slip over the nipple on the actuator to repair it.

This is also the same line that some people install a tee in, and run that over to a ranger water valve for the heater core. When the controls are put on "max" it puts vacuum on this line to recirculate the air, and then it will also turn the water off to the heater core.

Y'all already got it figured out.
But yeah, everyone keeps calling it the blend door, but as stated, it's the recirculate. Lol
I don't know how long mine was bad, but I fixed it like Franklin said.
I can't imagine how cold mine would get with the water valve. It already puts most new vehicles to shame in that department. Lol

This is the way both my trucks are setup. Works great. I've done the vacuum line over the rotted white line also.
