This is how to turn a 96 ford fire wall in to an 89 fire wall!!
I cut the stuff off the 89 fire wall

Then I cut up my 96 fire wall

then the rest of the pics tell the rest lol

The I cut the steering hole need trimming

While you have it torn that far down are you going to add a firewall reinforcement plate? Might be real easy to do it not and you would not have to worry about your firewall swap (which looks awesome!;Sweet), fatiguing and letting loose on you in the future.-cuss

Your rebuild has been inspiring me to start thinking about my crew-cab / short-bed conversion. It'll be a while though before I get all my parts lined up though.

Yeah I've been thinking about a fire wall reinforcement plate. I almost did a crew cab with a short bed on this one. I have a cab so my be I'll do my blue truck as a cc short bed:sly

Right now i'm using a wire wheel to take the paint off then i'm going to go over with some 220 sand paper and then 320. I'll tell ya, they used some good paint it 96 this **** just dosen't want to come off -cuss
