Good Morning Ya'll.
Since I didn't sell her and glad I didn't. Thought I'd give her a little face uplift. Took me two weeks of careful surgery. Hey, I'm an OLD geezer at 85. At least 30 hrs of masking, 4-5 hrs a day, then 5 minutes of painting. Did the box first, then the hood and front fenders, then the the drivers side door, then the other three doors, For Cris sakes why didn't I do the roof first, had to mask the whole truck to do that. Was really leary about crawling up on the roof, had to replace the running lite bulbs anyhow. Gonna keep her to tow the 5er, 11,500#. kellyj was over and he drove, said it seems it's got a lot of power. Sorry to say, painted her Chevy Truck White.

Not getting much use after 13 lbs but it was nice to see anyway. The sidewinders can boost easily if you adjust them. I found its easier to remove the boost can and "fix it so you can tighten the gate on the turbo so it stays closed till pressure gets higher.. Also may want to know the dome lite has a screw in it that sometimes grounds and blows the fuse. Really not that big of a deal but that fuse is also the power fuse to the E4OD cpu. A member had his children on top of his crewcab and it went into limp home mode. After plenty of work he found the problem and removed the screw that mounts the lite to the cab roof and ground down the too long screw. No more grounding issues and limp home mode.. For me I would just keep the kiddeis off my cab roof. Problem fixed and it cost nothing but words.. Happy to see the legg is allowing you out doors too.
