so all of the firewall damage is from the tire exploding and hitting it a bunch of times. I think this is the best I will be able to fix it with my ability.

Kinda makes me mad but I don’t think it’ll be noticeable at all with carpet ant insulation. I spread new sealant stuff all over because it was old and cracked. I was getting moisture in forever

I figure, while I’m here, I’m going to pull the dash (pain in the ass) and replace all the old firewall insulation stuff and clean it all. It’ll also give me some more room to make the firewall more pretty on the driver side

I find myself thinking “I gotta get it on the road” and obviously yeah I miss it but I definitely don’t want to skimp out on stuff that’ll make it way nicer to drive.

Yup exactly. I'm trying to straddle that line with my dually right now. What do I NEED to do NOW and what can I get away with putting off....

That’s what I’m doing. I’m very glad I bought that stupid ass little car. It’s really given me a reason to take it slow with the idi.

I haven’t taken a picture yet but I bought this 82 f150 yesterday for 750$. It’s really straight, has a little dent next the the passenger tail light but I already leaned against it and popped half of it back to normal so I’m not too worried. I WILL NOT BE KEEPING THIS, my girlfriend wants it really bad. It’s got a half taken apart 302 that’s for surly seized from not having heads on it. So I’m just gonna put my bent up fenders and rusty dented bed on it and sell it. I saw it on Facebook and I had to take advantage of it.

Why not? For that price it sounds like a keeper to me. Besides, it's doubtful that you'll ever find another one to replace it for that low of a price.

I am a squirrel. I can only have 1 project right now lol. Plus she needs to finish vet school so I don’t have to pay for all my projects

I put on a fender just to see how it looks. I also spent about 2 hours taking the dash apart and decided screw that I’m going home
