    Well it came out of a 460 truck that was wrecked. Can i use a T-18 I just found a reman for 400! on CL! I dont know whats up with it I thought it was odd?

    I am replacing my tranny and I found a T18 but it has an inside slave! I never heard of that but I think I can swap the guts and make it work has anyone ever hear of doing that and is an inside slave common on the t-18s?

    I am trying to get stuff for a zf5 swap and found a locked up 97 powerstroke 5 speed 4x4 and wanted to know if the flywheel can be used on my 6.9? I currently only have 2nd and 4th gear so Im looking hard. Amyone that has a 5 speed for sale I would be interested, thanks.

    Well this was not a planned event. I had a glowplug drop into the #5 cylinder in my buddies driveway when I was changing them. We took off the pump injector lines and oil fill housing all in one piece to get the intake off. So..... Thats why I an having a time trying to get my truck to live...

    yea I am taking lots of pics so I can know for later. On my cam gear ther is 2 copper colored teeth that seem to be where the TDC mark may be for the Y. Have you seen a gear with 2 off colored teeth that was the marks for timing?

    Yea I dont know whats up. Just feels like Im dragging a building. My fuel milage has dropped about 2 miles a gallon running the AC.

    That just dosent seem right but is interesting. I wonder if your using 5 gallons of oil per tank or say 10 gallons a follup with both tanks at the current price here at 2.69 Its a savings of 26.90 a fillup, if its wothit in the long run, Like 84TD asked does it wear more on the pump and injectors?
