I'm a costco member too. The tire maintanance thing is a good deal for me, since the wife works within a mile of one, and if she gets a flat or something they will fix it for her for nothing. I like BFG's and have never had any hydroplaning problems, but then I am not running the sizes you guys are.

Go with the BFG's! They last a lot longer,

Here is a pic of my set up and the only thing that doesn't have BFG's is the tow dolly!:D

I have BFG's and love them. They do throw rocks and are on the higher end of the price range but have proven to wear well. The ride is smooth and there is no noticeable noise. Have you checked at discount tire? they usually honor prices and you can get them to come down if you find them cheaper.
