    Broken Rocker Arm?

    Looking at getting back in the idi world, and found a truck that I like and the price is decent, guy said a rocker broke and bent a pushrod, and I'm wondering if I can pull the rocker arms and pushrods off of my truck (7.3) and put them on his (6.9) to get it going or should I just pass it up?

    T19 and Np435 question

    Do the bellhousings match on the 2 transmissions? How about the clutch and transfer case compatibilty? On another note, I've heard too high of gearing in the rear can cause premature clutch wear, is this true and why?

    Mech. Lift Pump for oil?

    Does anyone know if the mechanical lift pump would have any problem pumping straight engine oil? Like right from the pan oil?

    Maybe somebody here remembers.

    I know it was here and think it was some time in late 2011, but I remember a 7.3 being rebuilt with a very, very large turbo, maybe 1.10, the turbo was mounted straight to the intake manifold, gm style, and the engine was red. Anyone remember who it was, or where the post is?

    I know everyone reccomends Mahle Pistons, but what's the story on Hypermax pistons? Are they any better? Will they stop the 1200* melt point for these engines? Any input?

    Well, I pulled my trailer in from 2 years of working 'out of town', and 3 miles from home, fuel filter light stuck me.. My egts started rising, but not to an unsafe level, 900*... surprisingly, you can drive with no lift, but if it had been any further than I was, I wouldn't have chanced it...

    Is it possible to bolt it on backwards? This would make intercooling easier.. Only thing I can think of to interfere is IP and lines, but.. Would they?

    Overfueling

    Apparantly my fuel is turned up too much. Driving around empty you would never know, but yesterday I pulled my travel trailer from 1 job to another (about 50 miles), grossing 13,200 per scales. The pull went fine except I couldn't use overdrive per egt's, and couldn't go over 62 mph per egt's.
