Starter connections

What size terminal (starter end not wire end) do I need to hook up to the starter hot?

3/8 maybe?

I bought 1/2", hopefully I'm right.. Although 3/8 will have a 9/16 nut which will still grab the 1/2".

You know what it might be 7/16-14 because IIRC the wrench size is 11/16

Even better, is it reachable without pulling the starter bolts? I know these aren't the easiest questions to answer.

it should be. just follow the big red wire.

Disconnect the neg cables at the batteries so you dont weld a wrench to the bellhousing
