It's the dad gum C6 that kills it! Have y'all noticed that all the low mile bullnose trucks that are in great shape have C6s? It's because it sucks to drive a C6 behind these engines.........ask @Brian VT ......he knows....

I've noticed the same thing. I've been thinking that I need to find some junked trucks with manual transmissions and put those in some trucks with a C6.It's the dad gum C6 that kills it! I have 2 t-19s, just in case. I'd like a ZF5 or 2 as well, but I'd throw a t-19 in one if I did score another truck.I've noticed the same thing. I've been thinking that I need to find some junked trucks with manual transmissions and put those in some trucks with a C6.
Still better than a C6.but I'd throw a t-19 in one if I did score another truck.
The 1st thing that kills it for me is 2wd. The 2nd thing is the C6.It's the dad gum C6 that kills it! Have y'all noticed that all the low mile bullnose trucks that are in great shape have C6s? It's because it sucks to drive a C6 behind these engines.........ask @Brian VT ......he knows....
As long as you keep fluid in it, they basically are. I love the C6, just not behind a IDI. In town they're just fine, but on the highway, let's just say that they're not.But I'm told the C6 is "bulletproof" and that's mostly what I want out of this truck.
Hey, on re-review of that truck, do you recon the dog comes with it? I might consider a C6 IDI, if I had a good dog to run ahead and tell the people I was coming.
