You need to go into it with the perspective that @Jesus Freak has a disdain for bricknoses. We have an unspoken agreement that I buy all the bricknoses on the east coast and I send the bulls his way.

Also we need to crowd source more land as @chillman88 and I are at max capacity thanks to my bad influence
Hey, "disdain" is a bit harsh. Definitely got a preference, but not disdain. The hood latch is in the wrong spot of the bricknose, which is annoying. And anything looks better than a Dodge. But here's a picture of my 87 tow truck hood and my 86 parts bronco hood......both original paint.

I've seen one or two lately that I though about pulling the trigger on. I just haven't yet. Mostly because they had a C6 in them.
There's a box truck not far from me and it has that "if you can get it out of here, you can have it look" I've been meaning to stop and ask. It's definitely a C6, but it would be an cab, engine, differential, and it's a 83-86 so I could pull my tow body and put it on a there and have my "bullnose" tow truck......ahem.....ahem....lol, before my hood rust through.

Got any pictures from Moab?
Yes but not many. I am not a picture guy. Also we didn't hit the popular spots on this trip. Done most of that before. This was a trip to see family who lives there.

On the other hand, I am. I'm the nerd who has to take pictures every time we stop riding. These days, I prefer the "not popular" spots. The popular ones are usually pretty crowded.
Not very close but I have 60 acres you could use for parts scrounging rights.

If we lived closer, we could probably go into the IDI salvage business with the 60 acres of yours.

I don't see a problem, I see a serviceable part. Now if it was a 87 or later, you'd have a bunch of busted and cracked plastic that you couldn't do anything with. AND notice how handy it is that you can remove the dash to do clean wiring for stereo and gauges. Dude, we got the best! Just look at our stylish stearing wheels!
The fear you hold for thine Ford dash pad is nothing in the horrific, rattly, sharp, falling apart piece of junk that is a second gen Dodge dash. I swear, if you wreck one, your bound to get impaled. And the rattling… so annoying. I’m glad I had mine replaced. My wallet is not glad that I did though. Kinda funny, my Ford doesn’t get sent to pro shops, whereas anything motor or under the dash related on my Dodge is off limits to me and my tools. Another score for Fords!

The ease of dash removal is so nice. Gotta love the steering wheels! Yet another score for Fords!
Never seen a bricknose dash crack, and only the pad above the glovebox cracks on the Aeros
I have only seen small cracks in bricknose dashes, Jesus Freak’s tow truck being an exception.

Be thankful that there are not gaping holes that can swallow a socket rack in your dash. Sucks to try and get that out after it gets wedged down there. Oh and if you buy a new Ford dash, only like $900 cheaper than for a Dodge… plus nice quality feel to Ford piece whereas Dodge piece is and feels like a chunk of brittle cheap plastic
