Great !

That slight difference in viscosity really helps...I'm sure you noticed the difference from the old ATF compared to the PZ

Well, I'll be dipped. I learned a new word today: "lagniappe".

A lagniappe is "a small gift given to a customer by a merchant at the time of a purchase", or more broadly, "something given or obtained gratuitously or by way of good measure."

OilBurners continue to amaze me...in a good way. :)

How in the worlds and universe can anybody even have the idea to put automatic oil in a manual transmission??? That just kills!!! The oils have certain namens to put them in certain transmissions. There is no choice to decide for the owner. Hey I put Automatic Transmission Fluid in a manual tranymission and in my automatic transmission I just put SAE 80 or SAE 90. Whatever pills you take, just stop it now, even it might be too late.

That's what the manufacturer specifies.
Also it's a German trans, so don't blame us. Lol

How can anybody have the idea to put Automatic Transmission Fluid in a manual transmission? Do you put engine oil on your salad, just because its oil? There is for a certain reason ATF and for manual transmissions SAE80 or SAE90. So where is the real problem, besides of not being able to read?

Ok guys, a manual transmission has only oil in itself. An autonatic transmission has oil in itself and the torque converter and the oil cooler. So there is no need at all to flush a manual transmission, because there is only oil in the transmission and not somewhere else. And SAE 80 or 90 whichever you need can't be that expensive. SO don't let you ffol yourself guys. My best wishes to you all and stay save!

It's listed in the owners manual...
Maybe someone here has a manual handy and can take a picture for you.
Atf was specified because of the tighter tolerances. Now with wear and age, you can get by with a thicker fluid.

Just a side note (it doesn't apply to this trans specifically) the newer 6 speed version of this trans does run a cooler. So a flush would get more old fluid out.
