6.9 lines are closer to heads, if 6.9 lines work, the 7.3 lines will fit without issue.

i told me this.
comparing the 7.3 lines i took off my truck to the 6.9 lines i put back on.
to me, the difference inbetween 0.0000 and 0.0600 is a mile.

i want to make a split intake manifold.
something like the PSD style, but with separate intake runners.
i know that the lines are close, but will be done with 6.9 lines on engine.
that way if they work well and i ever decide to market them, they will fit for both.

IMO there is no, "oah yea, maybe itll clear"
only a "yes it will clear"

i told me this.

That's the best response I heard today. I wish I would have read this before I went Black Friday shopping and the young department store nametag wearing Millennial said "Who told you that it was on sale?", to which I could have replied confidently:

"I told me this."

I will definitely be using this at work from now on. I will make certain that you are noted in the footnotes as the creator of this response, you should definitely look at trademarking this response ;Sweet

IDIoit, I concur with your assessment of the lines. When I was compression testing engines the other day one set of lines was clearly different than the other. I had more trouble getting to the GP's on engine #2 which I know does not have it's original pump and lines on it. I think they were swapped out for an 87 which would have probably been a 6.9 but I'm not entirely sure of the origin of the engine they came from. It's subtle but it's noticeable when you start fitting things in place. I suppose they could just be angled different or something but that would seem difficult given how hard the lines are and the clamps and etc.
