Also unless you can cut the center out perfectly, you won't be able to balance them properly.

I would not open up the center hole on any wheel. When they punch the rim out (steel rim) they leave that turned up lip there for strength.

Some steel wheels have a lip. Dodge and aftermarket usually do not.

never had a balance problem on my hogged out rims. had 35's on them, balanced perfect. my 42's i have on them i never balanced cause it was never on the road again. and if you guys are worried about the rim being perfect on the hub so it is hub centric, please dear god dont ever buy aftermarket wheels. your minds will explode. they ALL are lug centric. the studs have no issue holding them center. having a conical hole for the lugnuts will center any wheel.
