dont see where you guys come up with this.my truck is no worse on fuel than my buddies srw.

anytime you increase rolling resistance you decrease fuel mileage. I've owned identical SRW and DRW trucks and the DRW's always avg 1-2 mpg less. Thats same driver (me) driving under the same conditions. your scenario doesn't acct for variables. In the end it all boils down to rolling resistance, you can't defeat that

Rolling resistance adn aerodynamics both effect fuel mileage. So yes i dually would get a tad worse mileage than a SRW if they were otherwise identical.
