What to do about ripping foil insulation

So I’ve got my motor out and getting ready to replace. But I was wondering what I should do about the foil insulation that wraps around the heater core box. It’s ripped and sagging due to rain.

Should I just taped it up with foil tape?

Foil tape will work. It'll also help keep it rigid.

You can also go to Lowe's or some other lumber store and get some self stick foil insulation and replace it.
