235/85R16's in the rear is the biggest. I'm assuming right now you've got 215/85R16's. If so, you've got 30.4" tires, 235's are 31.7" tires. That's 4.4%, or 2200 rpm's becomes 2103 rpms.

Keep in mind...a taller/wider tire will also cause more 'rolling resistance' thus using more fuel~energy to turn the tire.;Really

Toyo makes a 255/85r16 which is about 34" tall. They wear like iron and it shows in their price.;Really Look at the M55 commercial tire lineup. Your truck is 2wd??:dunno Don't think you will be stuffing these up front on a stock vehicle. Good luck;Sweet

235/85's is the biggest that will fit on the front, and they are the tallest that won't rub on the rear of a '94 drw f350. The 255/85's work on the newer 4wd superduty's ('99+) with a small spacer, and they fit up front on those trucks.

Should also add that last fall I tried shoving 255/85's on the front of my 2wd 88 f350, and they didn't fit. 265/75r16 was the biggest I could throw up front (same height as a 235, just wider)

245/75's are a 30.5" tire, they're a good combo with 215/85's on a dually cause the 245's are a touch wider than 215's, and work well up front. Kind of like 265/75's are good on the front of a dually with 235/85's in the rear.
