IDIBRONCO
I'd bet that you'll be able to make it back home. Especially since you don't have a leak (or much of one) while it's running.
It was about 30 degrees cooler than my normal climate this time of year. That definitely could have attributed to the issue, haven’t noticed any issues now I’m heading southI don't understand why it happens however each year when the weather turns colder, my old 74 highboy will have a little coolant puddle between the intake & head. Does it every year and each year I swear I'm going to fix and never do. Anyway, is it possible you're experiencing something similar? Did your travels take you to a much colder environment?
Are you running antifreeze in there?the balancer was in an ice cube,
I guess you'd have to leave it running if you came to visit me then.just enough for my climate zone.
