Full-floater
Hi guys.
Working on an 85 6.9 with a Banks turbo, that is water cooled. Never messed with a water cooled turbo before. Anyways, its leaking like a sieve from the inlet coolant hose to the turbo and I cant really get to it without removing the turbo. So, question is....can I bypass the turbo water cooling by re routing the heater hoses accordingly to effectively have no coolant flow to the turbo?, or with this ***** the turbo? Its a "quick fix" kinda truck that is on its last legs so just trying to cut corners a bit to be honest.
Thanks for your thoughts
