Jeez I need to move to the places you all are getting deals.

Like Goose; around here **** sells for crazy high prices, its sooo frusturating. One with 200,000 miles and beat to **** goes for 3-4 k all day long. One like mine would probably go 5-7.

I want to purposely buy myself a gooseneck flatbed trailer just so I can drive and bring these good deals home finally. Most of them are far enough away or need a little work to where I cant just easily drive it home without worrying.

Just remember: you can post anything for any price on Craigslist. I still see some pretty fair deals when I'm "hunting for more hoarding materials", but they go quickly.

The fact is we simply do not have trucks in that kind of shape, if they are, someone put a ton of work and money into them to bring it back to that kind of shape. Also, about 90% of the trucks here were bought origionally to be worked into the ground. The vehicles you guys have availaibe in Kali simply mesmorize me. You don't know how lucky you have it. I wish I had the funds to seek out my next truck and store it in a climate controlled environment as nothing newer really appeals to me.

Around here, folks selling used trucks, want you to make the payments on their new mistake that they just dropped enough down on to buy a half decent house around here. I wouldnt even look at the things. When I got mine, I ended up going to Oklahima. Theres scads of decent work trucks in Oklahoma and Texas. they pretty much grow on thees. THey are high mileage so an engine rebuild is to be expected, but the mileage is generally all long stretches on the highway.... easiest kind on a vehicle.

Just to give the rest of you a taste of whats usually being posted in my area. Now you know why I usually give a high estimate for a truck in GOOD condition.

http://southjersey.craigslist.org/pts/3592549383.html

You may be surprised, I have sold 2 of these,

First one was a 87 Gasser, rolling chassis, no motor, only trans, T-Case, axle's, and a burnt out cab, no bed, It sold for $2500.000

The 2nd one was a 98 Gasser that I bough for the plow for Droopy, It was complete, 460 and ran but that was about it, Exact came condition as the one in the CL ad, It sold for $2500.00 as well.

Guys that are building serous off road trucks or mud trucks love these as a rolling chassis to start with.
