Turbo installation Problem....HELP!!!

Ok, I am installing a Banks turbo. The issue that I am having is when I removed the brass plug from above the oil filter (to feed oil to the turbo) I have coolant streaming out. I put the plug back in but I leaked about a cup of coolant on the ground in the mean time.

My question is whether or not there should be coolant there or not? Since it says in the installation instructions to remove the plug and place lines to pump oil to the turbo I would obviously assume that coolant shouldnt be there. Do I have a cavitation problem? If anyone needs pics of the exact location then I can take some......

Are you removing the plug that is directly above the filter/in the oil cooler?

No its the plug thats on the driver side rear of the block above the oil filter.

That's a coolant passage in the block. There should be a smaller plug right above the filter (about 1"). If it is like my 94 and doesn't have a plug there you will need to tee off of your oil pressure sending unit

Or take it from the back of the block. There is a small plug in the back of the drivers side of the block on the bellhousing flange. Not on the adapter plate, but the flange that is cast into the block that the plate bolts to. Its about half way up the side of the block and almost where the exhaust manifold flange is at for the crossover pipe to bolt to.
If you still cant find it post back and we'll help ya out.
No matter where you put it be sure to clean that hole out good and crank the engine over afterwords to flush out all the coaked oil you've broken loose. If you dont clean the hole out you'll regret it, just ask Justin.

In the main oil galley you will find two more oil ports that are 1/8th pipe threads also. They are found almost under the center section of the oil cooler bundle. Hard as hell to get at and were there for the air compressers on the big dump trucks. I forgot what the other one was for...
