Transmission Coolers

I have a C6. I have already planned on the B&M + 2 Quart oil pan to get more fluid.

Would this be a good one to use or should I spring for something like this

Or could i buy one like the first one and make a fan setup for it by my self.

stacked plate coolers are far better - just get it into the air stream and enjoy. You can't go wrong with either one so either one will do the job just fine.

I personally would use the largest cooler I could find. That 26,000 lb unit is great but... The fittings are wrong. You either have 5/16 or 3/8 ibch lines... So adapting them might be an issue. There are plenty of coolers in the 20,000 to 26,000 lbs area for towing.....

Use the biggest stack plate cooler you can find.

The advantage of a stack plate cooler is it doesn't reduce line pressure. Tube coolers will reduce line pressure.

Stack plate coolers will transfer heat from the fluid more efficiently than a tube cooler.
