Is your O/D light flashing? Check for codes. What is the condition of the fluid? Old? Burned?

Nope o/d isn’t flashing and nothing changes when pressing on it, the fluid is 6-7 months old when i replaced the oil pan gasket. Just added some oil since my trans cooler line were leaking, the strangest thing about it is the fact that my ABS light is off and its on since like 10 months

You might check the voltage range on the TPS to see if there are dead spots or if the voltage is wacky. Idle voltage should be 1.2 and WOT 4.0+.

Have you done a KOEO OBD1 test?

Hey sorry for the late response, but my truck still does the same thing with the abs being off and hunting gear, but it’s intermittent, yesterday it did this all day but at the end of the day i took a big bump and it returned back to normal with ok shifting and Abs light on after restarting it, i really don’t understand what could do that

After hitting a bump, makes me think chafed wire somewhere, and the bump got it to stop shorting out

I would at least start by checking the main connector to the trans on the passenger side--should be behind a metal heat shield.
I once had a problem due to a loose fuse that would often lose contact after a big bump--swapped in a new fuse and problem solved.
Are your brake lights functioning properly? Any LED light conversions? Do you have an OBD1 code reader? I have an E4OD and the $33 for an Innova OBD1 was worth it in my opinion.

+1 on the brake lights, these E4ODs rely very heavily on the brake light circuit (including third brake light) mine would almost have to be towed if a light bulb went out it was ridiculous. I had a water leak into the third break light housing and it was non stop drama until I absolutely slathered it in silicone and squished the lid on.

Swap them back to incandescent unless the LED lights have a resistor wired in. The LEDs pull so little power that the system thinks the brake lights are out. This has been a common source of problems for people with the E4OD.
