Thought I was going to be able to make it this year as I'm off this coming weekend.... but..... I'm sadly not going to be able to make it. I got family coming into town this coming weekend so I will be visiting with them. We will have to meet up another time.

Bringemon! this weekend is more about the people than it is about the trucks.Bummer Man,..Sorry to here that Travis, Well defiantly have to work on getting together sometime since our Bike Trip didn't work out ether.

Quick Update, So far the weather looks beautiful for the weekend, mostly Sunny, but cool at night, High around 70.

Trailer and truck are washed and firewood loaded up. Just gotta make it to Friday now.

Getting things together here as well, since we won't be driving the truck or bringing a camper, my getting ready probably isn't as serious as others!

No doubt, piece of cake for you!
I hooked to the 5ver for the first time this year, got it washed, de-winterized, worked on the brakes, Checked the lights, filled the tires, filled the water tank, charged the battery, Cleaned the Awning, hauled it home and turned it over to Lori to do get the inside packed up and ready.
On the Truck, I washed it, Gave it some Diesel with Addative, I filled up the T-Case,...again,...adjusted the rear brakes, checked the all fluids, lubed all the fittings,..(there's like 15 on that thing
) Gave everything a once over and it looks to be ready to go on its grueling 45 minute trip,..
Oh Yea,..Got new Mirrors installed too

Sounds good! Our plan is to roll in about 10 PM Saturday night (we have a family reunion we need to make an appearance at) but we'll see if we can shave any time along the way (although this time I'll have two women with me telling me to slow down and we gotta stop, I need to ***!) Keep the fire burning for us! lol We will be staying until Monday then heading out.

cool at night?? COOL at night you say??? cool? as in "not cold, but not warm"??? how does 33 degrees thursday and friday night classify as "cool"? thats COLD!!! see, one degree above freezing is... almost freezing! and almost freezing is??? cold! hehehe... i dont have any propane for my furnace.... and my wife is already claiming she needs to snuggle with the baby to keep HER warm. what about me i say? guess its long underwear for me. i guess we have a cold front coming through from canada. i am sooo not ready for that weather! but... trucks all hooked up, fueled up, 50 gal of veggie for the trip home, firewood loaded up (thinking about more now...) bought a new sweatsuit today. put my power steering cooler on and swapped to amsoil ATF in it, works great now! oh ya, fixed my toilet! so other than tire pressure and clothes im basically as ready as i can be. im sure ill wash the truck too. cant wait to see you guys. dammit travis when do i get to meet you? been hearing about you forever!

HAMMER DOWN!
When i first saw this thread start i was thinking it would be cool to go, but then i remembered that i worked on saturdays. well now i am out of a job so i would have the time to make it. only one big problem. my truck's new rad is sitting in the garage and i will not be ready to go for the weekend.

Sounds like you are all set to go. If you want to dump your firewood, Ron is bringing plenty for the weekend, and it would be less weight to carry for ya.
