Started the day off playing with the engine for my car, got the oil system primed and the timing all lined up. Then I unhooked the trailer and pulled the truck over to the garage so I could unload that behemoth of a welder. I swear it weighs 200lbs. The set screws for the leads opened right up when I wanted to remove the leads which was impressive for 70+ year old flathead screws.
I need to change the oil in Tank but I wanted to get my Ham radio installed before my trip next weekend. Fished the grommet out of the HVAC box and got a fish wire through it. Then I spent probably 30min trying to find my spool of wire......
Got it fished through and sleeved/terminated/wrapped and remembered I never put a fuse on it ...........
Cut it back open and fixed THAT.

Pulled some more trim down inside to run wires and was reminded that while Texas is nice to metal, it's not very nice to plastic. Ugh.

Pulled the CB out and put the mounting bracket for the radio in. CB bracket was quite a bit too wide.
I didn't have the fancy T connector for the radio (came with one but that's in Diego), but a couple of insulated spade connectors will work just fine. Nobody is going to see them anyway.

Got everything hooked up and popped the mag mount antenna on (still don't have the chops to drill for an NMO mount yet).

Found a magnetic mic holder in a box of CB stuff I was given. That should work nicely there.

Definitely not as productive as I wanted to be, but got a few things done so it's something.
