I swapped transmissions yesterday. The 2nd gear synchro was toast in the junkyard special I have been running for the past year, and I was tired of granny shifting into 2nd. I got a remanufactured unit from Zumbrota Drivetrain through US Diesel Parts. So out with the old, and in with the new.

Is this one speed density or maf?
The ones with maf are an entirely different animal power wise.

Sadly speed density… I probably shouldn’t drive a MAF 460. They are quite rare, only late California 460s IIRC, but the 302 and 351 V8s got MAF in 94 I think.

Yea and then find depleated stock of the item needed, and a arm and leg for what is found new mostly.

Replaced the fuel filter today and it was an absolute debacle. took me about 2 hours all in to get it replaced.

Of all the dumb stuff, I actually drove home with my parking brake on..... about 12 miles, sure hope I didn't break anything! But I got a REALLY good excuse.......I was thinking about my 3 wheeler's gas tank.... and 3 wheelers are VERY distracting right now.

Oh those Turf Busters have rubber that gets hard when they get older and don't get very much traction. I also see a Suzuki MX bike in the background! If I had to guess, it's a two stroke and a smaller one. Maybe in the 85cc range?
