I replaced the steering linkages about three months ago. I greased them buy forgot the rear driveshaft. I changed the oil a couple of months ago and forgot to grease the rear driveshaft. Today, I FINALLY remembered to grease the rear driveshaft! Now I feel better about tomorrow's road trip.
Nice. Stuff like that always bothers me when I’m on long trips.

Went and picked up a worn out, beat up 97 F350 for a few hundred bucks. Starts, stops, runs and drives just fine. I pretty much just wanted it for some interior pieces, since it’s a Lapis Blue XLT trim, just like my 94, which needs some attention in the cab. (This is my half *** justification that this is sort of IDI related)

I’d never driven a 460 with 4.10s and an E4OD, plenty with 3.55s and 5 speeds, and older with 4 speeds. With no bed on it, the truck is kinda fast. I might put the dump bed from my blue truck on it, or I might scrap it and get all my money back out of it. Other than being rusty and having dents and 300k miles, nothing seems wrong. Except the rear fuel tank…

Pretty nice. With a flat bed it would make a great ranch truck.

Today felt a little like an old Brittney Spears song. Oops I did it again! Since I'll be running a ZF5 in my Ex Wife, I now have a spare. I also have a spare BW 13-45 for the Blue Truck and a spare BW 13-56 for the Ex Wife. Funny how these things seem to work out sometimes.

Is this one speed density or maf?
The ones with maf are an entirely different animal power wise.

I swapped transmissions yesterday. The 2nd gear synchro was toast in the junkyard special I have been running for the past year, and I was tired of granny shifting into 2nd. I got a remanufactured unit from Zumbrota Drivetrain through US Diesel Parts. So out with the old, and in with the new.
