@IDIBRONCO someone on here used a seal for the bottom of a garage door to replace the cowl seal. I Imagine you could get three of them out of one piece.
I wish I would have had the time to finish the turbo install, but I had to have four wheels. The motorcycle would have been miserable in the rain and cold. That's why turbos were invented.
I have to admit that I'm definitely getting older. The open headers aren't nearly as cool as I thought they were 20 years ago! On the plus side, most of the deer didn't take long to get across the highway!
Loud pipes save lives man.i will admit this a little also i have a Honda 1100cc cruiser with a loud set of Cobra pipes. i find lately i have been enjoying the quiet buzz of my 250cc with stock exhaust. the pipes are fun for a while but can get old especially since my main highway i drive has a center concrete barrier that bounces all the sound back at you.
Decibels don't necessarily equal horsepower though.Loud pipes save lives man.
What??!Decibels don't necessarily equal horsepower though.
If done right they do. My old 1993 ZX11 still has quite a bit of horsepower and the exhaust isn't very loud. What??!
Loud pipes save lives man.
Loud pipes save lives man.
I understand that all too well. That's why I came up with the saying that I posted earlier. I asked a Harley rider why they liked loud pipes several years back. He said if you can't be fast, you might as well be loud.Ya, well there's a couple of bikers around here that have saved about 10,000 lives then.
I scraped ice - not frost, but ice - off my windshield this morning. It's time to start putting the anti-gel in the fuel!
