You have come a long ways in almost a year with work and school.
Mus be difficult to find good clean sheet metal living in the Rust belt.

She sure looks a lot better.

Thanks! It has been very rewarding. Fortunately, the truck came with the front sheet metal. It is gonna suck finding a nice rad core though, I was they were available aftermarket for the bulls. Rust sucks lol

Thanks! This truck created a fascination with idis for me when I was a kid. It has been pretty fun to familiarize myself with them.

5/22/2025 - On The Road Again!
Hey everyone, it's me again. I need to post on here more often. Since the weather has gotten nicer out, I have been working on this rig every chance I get. I have been very busy. With my tax return I was able to infuse a healthy amount of cash into the truck too. Who knew this thing would ever see a set of 6 new tires again! With my Y pipe being long gone, and nothing on the market to replace it, I decided I was going to have to make my own system. It isn't the prettiest, but it was good welding experience and its solid. It is true duals with glasspacks now which was purely a financial choice, but its pretty cool regardless.

After years of both sitting and iffy maintenance , I am beyond impressed with this truck. She is definitely a faithful rig. I was able to register it yesterday, And I have been getting some nice local driving in. It makes me very happy to be driving a 4 speed bull again, It is such a thrill. This was a HUGE step for me. I can't wait to get her 100% sound, and to get it looking as sharp as it once did, but for now I am going to enjoy the fruits of my labor. I definitely could not have done it without the information I learned in this forum:) (speaking of information, I've got some 1985 F series shop manuals - if any of you need to see something out of it please let me know! I wish I could convert them into a PDF file to share here, but that's gotta be a 1000 pages or so)
