Just out of curiosity... why? The short-wide means you wouldn't be able to use a/c if your truck is equipped with it. And being down here in Arkansas, you're a brave man if you don't ride around with a/c.

Why do you want a wide short one when you have a tall narrow one already? The tall ones are larger capacity just so you know!

Conestoga Diesel found a good source for aluminium radiators and is selling them now. The price is very competitive and the radiator is built very well all the way around. Travis had one put in his truck and I got to take a peek at it at the rally. I think his may have been the wide one too.

Performance radiator is what Conestoga Diesel is selling I believe. Pretty well known company and I think they have a pretty good warranty.

The tall ones are somewhere around 350, the wide, short ones are about 500. I know what I would do.

after measuring the two and sitting them side by side and so forth the tall one is about 20% larger overall dimensionally!

If you have the core support for the short/wide you can't install the tall one without the matching core.

I don't think an 84-87, 88 power booster is even the same as yours. I would be looking under the hood of that f450 and seeing if I couldn't steal a hydroboost setup :sly Power boosters are pretty reasonably priced. Around $60 for a rebuilt one.

edit to add. Can't hurt to try the later model one. When I was young and had energy ....
